For those who haven't been in the clinic the past few weeks, we wanted to update you on the changes we've made to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Please text when you arrive for your appointment and wait in your car. We will let you know when the doctor is ready! Remove anything you would normally put in the small baskets (earrings, jewelry, etc.) and leave it in your car.
Beginning June 30, all patients are required to wear a mask when you come for your appointment. This is a mandatory order from Jefferson County that goes into effect 6/29/20 at 5pm.
All patients will be scheduled at least 10 minutes apart. The tables are cleaned between every patient and have been spaced out to maintain social distancing. If more than one doctor is treating patients then patients will be treated in separate rooms. Masks will be worn with all face-to-face interactions. Any staff member coming into direct contact with patients will sanitize their hands between each patient. If the doctor is going to make contact with the patient, they will first put a towel or blanket down as a barrier.
All patients will be asked if they've had a recent fever, respiratory issues, muscle aches, nausea, or vomiting not attributable to any other causes. If the patient has a positive response to any of the questions, they will be asked to go home and will be given a form on how to follow up with their local medical provider.
We continue to ask that you do NOT bring non-essential guests or children with you to your appointment.
Please do not hesitate to call our office with any questions at 205-803-1234.
Where do you go for your information? In today's society it is just as easy to find misinformation as it is to find reliable information. Here at Archetype, we are dedicated to providing you with the correct information to help you become the best and healthiest version of yourself.
Natalies story of how she was terrified to visit a chiropractor, until she realized the benefits and relief it provided for her chronic back pain.
This is the most common response I hear any time I ask to see a patient’s blood work. They have been told that everything is normal, yet they still feel awful. How could this be the case? This post is specifically about why medical and functional blood analysis is different and absolutely needs to be understood. Medicine evaluates "normal"/non-pathological blood values. Archetype uses "optimal" blood values which are smaller in a acceptable range but are compared other lab values to determine the cause of your issue..
