The nervous system controls every cell and organ in the body. An accident can cause the vertebrae to dislocate and disrupt a nerve, leading to the loss of health of certain organs, causing loss of function and sometimes a lot of chronic back pain, joint pain and headaches. A person can live for years with pain or certain malfunction in the body, taking pain medication and hoping that the problem will go away. Unfortunately, no medication can heal a disrupted nerve, the root cause of a long list of symptoms. The problem is physical and only physical manipulation will relieve it. It is only after they visit a chiropractor that the root problem is addressed. The chiropractor focuses on bringing the spine back into alignment, giving the body a good environment to heal itself. One chiropractor’s technique can vary from one to the next as there are over 100 different techniques. Some of the ones you may have heard of are Full Spine, Gonstead, Thompson, Activator, Network, Torque Release Technique(TRT), Upper Cervical etc… There really needs to be a book about all the techniques available to the public in the wonderful world of Chiropractic. The technique that I utilize in the clinic is diversified combined with soft tissue work as you have experienced if you have been in my clinic.A chiropractic adjustment can be called a chiropractic manipulation or manual manipulation or spinal manipulation. In involves application of manipulation to the vertebrae that have abnormal movement patterns or that do not function properly. The aim is to reduce abnormality of the spine, increase range of motion, reduce nerve irritability and improve function.A person might need several manipulations to the spine before they get better. Soon after each manipulation the patient may have aching and soreness in the spinal joints or no soreness at all. About 90% of people are not sore after an adjustment. 5% feel worse and about 5% are slightly sore. Each person handles an adjustment differently. An ice pack for about 20 minutes every 2 hours will help inflammation to go down. Heat should never be used unless the pain is chronic! Once the spine is adjusted, the body’s inner healing process kicks in, bringing health to the affected part. After a few adjustments depending the care plan, the patient is eventually pain free.A healthier spine will help the body to function better in its environment since the nervous system can function at optimum levels. The organs that were affected by the previous condition will heal themselves and function normally again. The pain goes away and stays gone.As you can tell, chiropractic adjustments are a completely drug-free way to heal the body naturally. It is useful for more than just back pain. Chiropractic adjustments help bowel regularity, arthritis, ear infections, allergies, asthma, joint pain, headaches, scoliosis, blood pressure, neck pain, organ function, and surgery prevention. If you have any chronic pain that is bothering you and you are tired of taking medication that does not heal you, visit a chiropractor in Albama. The problem that has bothered you for years can go away after a few weeks under the care of a chiropractor.
