Kiwis are high in vitamin C which makes them a great wintertime snack! Vitamin C plays a big role in immunity, collagen formation and free radical defense. Kiwis also contain an anti-inflammatory enzyme that helps reduce fat and possibly improve allergies. They also contain antioxidants and essential fatty acids.One kiwi holds about a day's worth of vitamin C. Vitamin C supports your body's immune system during a cold and may even help prevent you from getting sick in the first place.
